Make Money Through Blogging

I have been in the business of making money online for almost a year. Not pretty long experience but my learning rate is fast and my progress in money making has considerably doubled if not tripled. Any eye brows crossed? Skeptical about money making online? I too was like you before. To think I started blogging with nothing but pure curiosity and the desire to make money.

What's the Best Way to Make Money Online?
Ask this same question to different people and you'll get different answers. But if you are to ask me, I'd say "Blogging" or "Creating a website".

How to create a Website and the cost?
I can be authoritative only in the aspect of creating a blog at blogspot. There is no cost in creating a blog at blogspot. It's free. Here's how to do it:
1. Create a Gmail Account.
2. Go to www.blogger.com and sign in using your gmail usernam and password.
3. Create the Title and URl address of your blog. Blog on topic you like and you can sustain writing for a long time. Don't talk about a topic you don't know or you have no interest in.
4. Choose a Template
5. Your blog is done. Start Posting!

By having a blog I generate at least $100 a month, oftentimes I get $300 and above. I have my friends and classmates now who have started their own blogs at blogspot because I am a living proof that Pinoys can really make money online.

I don't want you to read lengthy post. For now I want to inspire you and let you see the potential of making money online. I am here to help you. The Filipinos are known for their wits, for being creative, for being resourceful and for being hard working. Let's put these traits to use.

In my next post I will tackle about Adsense and how you can make money from it. There is no subscription button yet in this blog, but I'll put one soon, so subscribe to this blog and allow me to help you make money online.

How To Make Money Online Without A Website

There are countless ways to make money online without having a blog or a website. What are these ways? Let's talk about them in general.

1. I HAVE TO REMOVE THIS ... SORRY!

2. Write at MYLOT. I have been paid by mylot 4 times. So I guarantee it pays. It pays through moneybookers and paypal with a minimum payout of $10. Just participate in discussions, create or respond to topics, upload photos and get paid.

The good: It's a wonderful interactive community. Most people in Mylot I believe are there not to make money as a priority but to interact and get their ideas acrossed.

The bad: It used to pay very high before when there were only few members. Now it pays about 1 cent to 7cents per post on my experience.

But not simply for money, you will enjoy staying at mylot. You'll meet new friends and learn new things. You might even learn more ways to make money online at the site.

3. Write at Forums. I have not tried this idea but I do participate in forums but not to make money. Expect to get paid only cents per post.

4. Join Surveys. There are plenty of Survey Sites. I have joined one that hasnt paid me yet but it looks very promising. I earned 27 dollars in less than 10 minutes. The payout though is high $75 and payment is though check or paypal. It's called A.W Surveys. You can check it here.

5. Search and Make Money.
This is a slow way to make money. I've joined a few sites but am not active. You earn cents using this method.

6. Make Money From Photos and videos. This is another money making strategy but oftentimes the money you make depends on the number of impressions you get. So say, if you get 1000 impressions you can be paid 25 dents to a dollar. Getting a thousand impression though is tough.

7. Go Freelance. If you are good at writing you can accept freelance jobs and get paid. This one is understandable.

8. Sell Stuff only. Sell at ebay. Selling might just be your thing.

These are all the things I can think of for now. But if you wish me to complete the list and make it 10. Add the following:

9. Join any contests online.
10. Beg for donations.

(hahhahaha... (grin :)

Eon Visa Electron and Paypal

Currently I use Eon Visa Electron Card to receive money from Paypal. Eon Card is cheaper compared to other visa or debit card. Eon Card's yearly fee is only 350 pesos and it has no maintaining balance. By the way Eon is a debit card and you can apply online or at your nearest Union Bank Branch. But applying online is faster. Don't asked the people at Union Bank about paypal. They won't be able to give you satisfying answers about your queries.

I would recommend Eon Debit Card if you have no Credit Card of Visa Card. To apply for this type of visa debit card, you need two valid identification Id's. For more details click here.

With Eon Visa Electron Card you can access your balance online by creating a cyber account. You don't have to go the atm machine to inquire about your balance. Just go online and check your account. Eon Visa Electron Card is "megalink" card so you can have the pleasure and convenience of withdrawing almost anywhere.

Got any questions? Just asked me.

How To Apply For Paypal

Applying for Paypal is easy 1 2 3.

Here are the steps:

1. Go to https://www.paypal.com/row/mrb/pal=R9SDAJGCUTFLC. Take note of the "https". Please copy the link as provided so that you will not be redirected to a fake paypal site. Or just click Apply For Paypal (opens a new browser).

2. Click the Sign Up button.

3. Select your country and language. Fill in the Choose from Personal Account, Premier Account or Business Account. I use the Personal Account.

4. Next Fill up the required information and you're done.

Verifying Paypal Account
Remember, you paypal account must be verified so that you can withdraw money. If you haven't verified your paypal account yet, you can still receive money but you cannot withdraw. So how do you verify your paypal account? Very simple, just enter your credit card, visa card or debit card. Your card must have a transaction history (withdrawal or deposit), otherwise paypal will deny your card.

The EXPUSE or Expanded Use Number
After entering your visa card, you will be automatically included in Paypal's Expanded Use Program. You will have to wait for you EXPUSE number in your card's transaction receipt. If you have your EXPUSE number just input it in your paypal account to complete the verification and so that you will have no sending limit.

Can I use another persons credit card/visa card?
Definitely not. I contacted Paypal about this matter and they were explicit telling me that I can only use my own credit or visa card. So better apply for one if you have no card.

This is more of a crash course. So if you have questions, I will be happy to answer them.

Introduction To Money Making Online

To all Filipinos who want to make money online, I will be frank. Making money online is definitely not as easy as you think. If you see advertisements or promotions purporting to convey that you can make a hundred dollars or thousands of dollars in a few minutes of being online, don't be fooled! These are all marketing strategies. This is the general rule as far as I'm concerned. There maybe an exception though so you better be keen.

What you need before you join money making programs?
Before you join earning sites, you need to have an e-gold account or a paypal account, or a moneybookers account. There are other payment systems but these three are the most useful, most convenient payment systems for Filipinos.

If you wish to apply for e-gold account click here.
If you wish to apply for paypal account click here.
If you wish to apply for moneybookers account click here.

The e-gold controversy.
E-gold is no longer an advisable payment system due to the complaints received by its members. Please read articles about this system before you decide. But for your information I still have my e-gold account, active but I am using paypal now.

Paypal Philippines can now send and receive payments. Of the three payment systems I've mentioned, Paypal is the one I highly recommend. As to how to apply for paypal and how to withdraw money from paypal to your credit card, I will tackle about that in my next post.
