After one and half rounds Evans did not do much of a damage to Chuck, but in the second round with 1:51 remaining, Evans found his way to win. Liddell went for an uppercut but did not connect, putting him in a vulnerable position. Evans capitalized with an overhand right which connected on Liddell sending the latter to the canvas. One solid punch made the difference. Liddell was left unconscious!
