How to Renew your Eon Card?

Your EON Cyber Account VISA card expires. When this happens you can't fund paypal payments using your eon card so that is a problem if you are engaged in online money making and other online business. So you need to renew your card. Here is a simple information on how you can renew your expired EON Card.

1. First, go to the nearest UNION BANK branch.
2. Bring your expired EON card along with 2 valid ids and a clear xerox copies of these two valid ids (front and back xerox copies)
3. Talk to the Union Bank representative/teller about your concern. He will give you a form to fill up.
4. Just fill up the form and wait for 2 weeks to get your new EON card.

Here are some more important facts about EON Card renewal.

- Your EON Card account number is not change (12 digits)
- Your EON Card number is changed (16 digits) in your new EON Card replacement

Union Bank's Transaction Password!

Union Bank has added additional safety security measures for EON Cyber Accounts. To be able to login to you EON Cyber Account you need to type in your Transaction Password. Unfortunately many EON Cyber Account users forgot about their Transaction Passwords because it wasn't even there in the first place of signing up for an online EON Cyber Account. To make matters worst is how to get your transaction password in order to log in to your EON Cyber Account. There is no help section in the Unionbank website to help you retrieve your transaction password. Your only viable options are the following:

1. Go to a Union Bank Branch (most local branch can't help you )
2. Call Union Bank via the following numbers:

• +632 84186 (24 hour customer support)
• 1800-1888-2277 (Domestic Toll Free) - impossible to get through :(
• IAC-800-8277-2273 (Universal Toll Free)

3. Send Unionbank an email

• electron@unionbankph.com

If you get a response from using either any of the above options you are lucky. Most users don't get a quick reply. Others wait in vain for months for a response from Unionbank.

I still have a problem with the transaction password too.. I emailed Unionbank just a few hours ago.. No response yet. Called a local branch, no help! Called the domestic toll free number, can't get through.

So if you have problems with your transaction password, goodluck!

Eon Visa Electron and Paypal

Currently I use Eon Visa Electron Card to receive money from Paypal. Eon Card is cheaper compared to other visa or debit card. Eon Card's yearly fee is only 350 pesos and it has no maintaining balance. By the way Eon is a debit card and you can apply online or at your nearest Union Bank Branch. But applying online is faster. Don't asked the people at Union Bank about paypal. They won't be able to give you satisfying answers about your queries.


I would recommend Eon Debit Card if you have no Credit Card of Visa Card. To apply for this type of visa debit card, you need two valid identification Id's. For more details click here.

With Eon Visa Electron Card you can access your balance online by creating a cyber account. You don't have to go the atm machine to inquire about your balance. Just go online and check your account. Eon Visa Electron Card is "megalink" card so you can have the pleasure and convenience of withdrawing almost anywhere.
